- Increased Boys & Girls Club programming
- Two new gyms
- Updated and expanded community pool facilities
- Improved access for children and adults
Why Play?
There are virtually no opportunities for economically disadvantaged people in the Barron County community to have access to a safe space for physical activity. The County ranks 53 out of 72 in health outcomes and 43 in adult obesity. A major goal of the new facility is to reduce obesity rate and increase physical activity.
A New Home
Together. Better. Bigger.
The new Club will consolidate three locations allowing more offerings and better programming. The entire facility will now be ADA accessible. Due to the location, access will increase greatly for children in the school district which will increase usership in the club. The Club will have access to the adjacent recreation center expanding its opportunities for its participants.
